Fun at the Mall

September 27, 2012

Everytime we see the grandkids we are reminded of the energy and enthusiasm of kids.  Many things have the potential to be fun.  Show them a little kindness and it returns 3-fold.  Bring Liam to the ballgame in Cedar Rapids and posing with the mascot is exciting!!  Hold Julia close and she is on top of the world.

But, when you think of 4-year-olds, there is one place to avoid – The Mall.  At least that is what I thought.  And I was proven wrong.

Recently, when Seth and Megan came over, we decided to go to Jordan Creek Mall.  And, the promise to Liam (who is a 4-year-old) was simple – if you be good, we will take you to the playground before we leave.

Liam is in the long-sleeve gray shirt.  I think he likes the mall!!

Grandbabies are such a delight 🙂 They bring us youth when we feel old and remind us to live each day in the present 🙂 Yours are beautiful!

My son can’t get enough of the mall. I was sad to see that they took the merry-go-round out. He likes that more than those silly cars that you put a dollar in & all it does is go up & down. Ugh.

Heartafire, thanks for sharing. Smiles have infinite power – they can lift the spirit of others – they can change the course of a day. Smiles are amazing.
